Tamari(Ringside seats)

Ordinarily called "sunakaburi" (seats that can get you covered in sand), the Ringside Seats surround the ring. Each guest sits on one zabuton cushion.

• * Tamari(Ringside seats) are available for guests aged 16 and over.
• * There is a risk of injury from wrestlers or others in the ring falling out of it.
• * Ringside Seats may not be purchased by persons who are physically disabled or otherwise not prepared to cope with the risks.
• * If you are injured as noted above on a day in the tournament, you will receive first aid at a clinic, etc. The Japan Sumo Association will not pay any compensation afterward.
• * It is prohibited to bring in food, beverages, or hazardous articles into Ringside Seats. It is also prohibited to take photographs with cameras etc. or to use mobile phones.
• * You cannot bring in and use floor chairs (zaisu).
• * On the occasion of the holding of the tournament at the new venue, we have provided stowage space under the seats. You can watch the bouts more comfortably after stowing your footwear and handbags in this space.

Box seats

Box Seats are squares partitioned into four, with a zabuton cushion in each of the four seating spaces. They best offer a distinctive atmosphere for watching sumo matches as in olden times.

• * It is not a chair, so if it is difficult for you to sit on a zabuton cushion, please consider our Chair Seat.

Box seats in rows 1 to 4 on the Front, the Opposite side, East, and West sides.

• * Box seat tickets are sold per box unit.

1, 2 or 4 guests Box Seat A

Box seats in rows 5 to 8 on the Front, the Opposite side, East, and West sides.

• * Box seat tickets are sold per box unit.
• * 1guest Box Seats A are in the seventh row on the opposite, east, and west sides. They are sold only at sumo information centers. The Box Seats located at the ends of these rows are shaped differently.
• * Box Seats S are in rows 5 to 6 on the front side and 5 to 7 on the opposite, east, and west sides. They are handled only at sumo information centers. The Box Seats located at the ends of these rows are shaped differently.

4 guests Box Seats B

Box seats in rows 9 to 11 on the Front and 9 to 12 on the Opposite side.

• * Box seat tickets are sold per box unit.

4 guests Box Seat C

These are Box Seats located in rows 13 to 16 on the opposite side.

• * Box seat tickets are sold per box unit.

Lounge Chair Seats S/A, Lounge Wheelchair Seats

• The Lounge Chair Seats S/A are located on the front side on the second floor. Tickets for them are purchased in a package including a bento lunch and beverages (one alcoholic beverage or an unlimited amount of soft drinks). They are somewhat wider than the regular Chair Seats.
• The Lounge Wheel Chair Seats are located in the last row of the Lounge Chair Seats on the front side on the second floor. Tickets for them are purchased in a package including a bento lunch and beverages (one alcoholic beverage or an unlimited amount of soft drinks). You can watch the bouts while sitting in your wheelchair.
• Behind them is the Premium Lounge exclusively for guests with Lounge Seats. The lounge serves high-class foods and beverages that can be enjoyed while relaxing on a sofa or chair inside.

• * One admission ticket for a Lounge Wheelchair Seat will allow admission by the wheelchair user and one companion, for a total of two. Please note, however, that the companion will not receive the free bento (box lunch) and beverage(s).
• * One admission ticket for a Lounge Wheelchair Seat will allow parking by one vehicle in the parking space exclusively for wheelchair users. To use this space, please present your admission ticket for a Lounge Wheelchair Seat (QR ticket for guests) to the guard at the entrance to the parking space.
• * There is a separate charge for use of restaurants and bars in the Premium Lounge.

Lounge Box Chair Seats

• These seats are located in the rear on the front side on the second floor, and are a semi-private space with a table at each seat. Tickets for them are purchased in a package including a bento lunch, beverages (one alcoholic beverage or an unlimited amount of soft drinks), and a souvenir gift (limited-edition original product; the product details will be announced in early May). They have the same plush design as those in the Suite Room on the third floor of the IG Arena.
• Behind the seats is a “Premium Lounge” exclusively for customers with lounge seats, where you can enjoy luxury food and drinks while relaxing on the sofas and chairs in the lounge.

• * There is an additional charge for use of the food and beverage establishments in the lounge.

Lounge Box Chair Seats

Premium Lounge

• The Premium Lounge can be used only by guests in Lounge Chair Seats, Box Seats, or Wheelchair Seats. The Premium Lounge has two bars and two restaurants. It sells special foods and beverages that are not sold in the general area. There is a separate charge for these foods and beverages, which are served inside the lounge from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Lounge Chair Seats S

Lounge Chair Seats are located in rows 1 to 7 in blocks 212 to 218 on the front side on the second floor.

Lounge Chair Seats A

Lounge Chair Seats A are located in rows 8 to 13 in blocks 212 to 218 on the front side on the second floor.

• * Due to circumstances related to the determination of seat numbers in the arena, the notation on the ticket will be vary, being between rows 30 to 35.

Lounge Box Chair Seats

Lounge Box Chair Seats are located in the rear on the front side on the second floor.

Lounge Wheelchair Seats

Lounge Wheelchair Seats are located in the last row of the Lounge Seats in blocks 214 and 216 on the front side on the second floor. You can watch bouts while sitting in your wheelchair.

Chair Seats SS are located in rows 1 to 4 in blocks 207 to 211 on the east side and blocks 219 to 223 on the west side on the second floor.

Chair Seats S

Chair Seats S are located in rows 5 to 8 in blocks 207 to 211 on the east side and blocks 219 to 223 on the west side on the second floor.

• * Due to circumstances related to the determination of seat numbers in the venue, the notation on the ticket will vary, being between rows 26 to 29.

Chair Seats A

Chair Seats A are located in rows 9 to 12 in blocks 207 to 211 on the east side and blocks 219 to 223 on the west side on the second floor.

• * Due to circumstances related to the determination of seat numbers in the venue, the notation on the ticket will vary, being between rows 30 to 33.

Chair Seats B

Chair Seats B are located in rows 13 and 14 in blocks 207 to 211 on the east side and blocks 219 to 223 on the west side on the second floor, and rows 5 to 8 in block 206 on the east side and block 224 on the west side on the second floor.

• * Due to circumstances related to the determination of seat numbers in the venue, the notation on the ticket will vary, being between rows 34 and 35 for rows 13 and 14, and rows 26 to 29 for rows 5 to 8.

Chair Seats C

Chair Seats C are located in rows 9 to 12 in block 206 on the east side and block 224 on the west side on the second floor.

• * Due to circumstances related to the determination of seat numbers in the venue, the notation on the ticket will vary, being between rows 30 to 33.

Chair Seats D

Chair Seats D are located in rows 13 and 14 in block 206 on the east side and block 224 on the west side on the second floor.

Wheelchair Seats

There is wheelchair seating on the concourse of the last row in block 211 on the east side and block 219 on the west side on the second floor. You can watch the bouts while sitting in a wheelchair.
You can proceed to seats without any steps on the way by entering from the gate on the second floor after taking the elevator on the open deck.

• * One wheelchair seat allows entry for two people – the wheelchair user and one companion.
• * Wheelchair Seats tickets are a purchase of the space itself, so please come with your own wheelchair.
• * One admission ticket for a Wheelchair Seat will allow parking by one vehicle in the parking space exclusively for wheelchair users. To use this space, please present your admission ticket for a Wheelchair Seat to the guard at the entrance to the parking space.
• * You cannot go to a Box Seat or other (non-wheelchair) seating while sitting in your wheelchair.
• * Please note that, if the wheelchair user cannot attend on the prescribed day, the admission ticket will be invalidated.
• * Applications for tickets for wheelchair seats are accepted only at Ticket Oosumo (on the Internet) or by the Ticket Oosumo Telephone Reservation Service.
